Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about TG6 backpacks, orders, and streaming.
The Backpack
What is TG6 and what do you sell?
TG6 (Team Glitch 6) is a live-streaming brand run by teamglitch6. We build and sell purpose-made IRL streaming backpacks — fully assembled rigs with the router, camera, capture card, and laptop pre-configured and ready to stream. Every unit is built and tested live on stream before it ships.
What are the three tiers?
Metro — T-Mobile Home Internet, built for city and suburban streamers with solid 5G coverage. The first unit we ship.
Roamer — Peplink MAX Transit Duo with dual-SIM bonding (T-Mobile + Verizon). Built for areas where single-carrier coverage drops. Ships after Metro.
Nomad — Starlink portable in roam mode. Designed for remote locations, international travel, and off-grid streaming. The most powerful tier.

What does "stream output" mean — 1080p 60fps but camera is 4K?
The Sony ZV-1 II shoots 4K 30fps clean HDMI output into the Elgato Cam Link 4K. OBS on the laptop takes that 4K signal and does two things at once: streams 1080p 60fps to Twitch, YouTube, and Kick (the platform standard), and records the raw 4K 30fps locally to storage. You stream at broadcast quality and archive in full resolution.
Which platforms does the backpack stream to?
All three tiers support simultaneous multistream to Twitch, YouTube, and Kick out of the box. The signal routes through NGINX RTMP on the laptop with an FFmpeg bridge for RTMPS platforms. You go live once and hit all three.
Orders & Shipping
When will Metro ship?
Metro is the first unit in production. Prototype v1 is being built and tested live on stream — follow twitch.tv/teamglitch6 to watch the build in real time. Pricing and availability will be announced when the prototype passes the live stream test.
Can I get notified when a tier becomes available?
Yes. Go to the contact page and select "Notify me when Roamer/Nomad ships" from the topic dropdown, or use the subscribe form on the home page. You'll be the first to know when each tier opens.
Do you ship internationally?
Metro ships domestically (US) at launch. The Nomad tier — which uses Starlink's global roam network — is specifically designed for international use and will have international shipping options when it releases. More details on international availability will be posted before Nomad launch.
What payment methods do you accept?
Orders are processed via Stripe — all major credit and debit cards accepted. Apple Pay and Google Pay are also supported at checkout.
Returns & Support
What if something doesn't work when I receive it?
Every unit is tested live on stream before it ships — you can watch the test VOD for your specific unit. If something is wrong on arrival, contact us through the contact page and we will make it right. Full return and warranty policy is available in the Terms.
