Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about TG6 backpacks, orders, and streaming.
The Backpack
What is TG6 and what do you sell?
TG6 (Team Glitch 6) is a live-streaming brand run by teamglitch6. We build and sell purpose-made IRL streaming backpacks — fully assembled rigs with the router, camera, capture card, and laptop pre-configured and ready to stream. Every unit is built and tested live on stream before it ships.
What are the three tiers?
Metro — T-Mobile Home Internet, built for city and suburban streamers with solid 5G coverage. The first unit we ship.
Roamer — Peplink MAX Transit Duo with dual-carrier bonding — it streams on T-Mobile and Verizon at the same time, so if one carrier drops the other keeps you live. Built for areas where a single carrier isn't reliable. Ships after Metro.
Nomad — Starlink satellite internet — no cell towers needed. Designed for remote locations, international travel, and off-grid streaming. The most powerful tier.

What does "stream output" mean — 1080p 60fps but camera is 4K?
The Sony ZV-1 II films in 4K 30fps and sends a clean HDMI feed — no menus or icons baked into your shot — through the Elgato Cam Link into OBS on the laptop. OBS then does two things at once: broadcasts your live stream to Twitch, YouTube, and Kick at 1080p 60fps (the standard those platforms use), and records the full 4K file locally so you keep a top-quality copy of every stream.
Which platforms does the backpack stream to?
All three tiers stream to Twitch, YouTube, and Kick at the same time, out of the box. OBS and a relay server on the laptop handle the routing — you hit go-live once and you're on all three platforms.
Orders & Shipping
When will my backpack ship?
Every unit is built to order. When your pre-order lands, the components for your build are purchased, then your unit is assembled and tested live on twitch.tv/teamglitch6 — you get the VOD of your unit passing before it ships. Once it passes, it ships next day with included overnight shipping (US) — no shipping cost at checkout. Our promise: your order ships within 30 days of payment. If we ever can't hit that, we'll email you the reason and the new date, and you can cancel for a full and prompt refund. Metro builds run first, then Roamer, then Nomad. You'll get email updates from order confirmation to tracking number.
Not ready to order yet?
All three tiers are open for pre-order now. If you're still deciding, use the subscribe form on the home page for drop and build updates, or pick "Updates / notify me" on the contact page and tell us which tier you're watching.
Do you ship internationally?
Metro ships domestically (US) at launch, with overnight shipping included once your unit passes its live test. The Nomad tier — which uses Starlink's global roam network — is specifically designed for international use and will have international shipping options when it releases. More details on international availability will be posted before Nomad launch.
What payment methods do you accept?
Orders are processed via Stripe — all major credit and debit cards accepted. Apple Pay and Google Pay are also supported at checkout. You're charged in full at checkout, and your build starts from that payment: parts ordered, assembled, stream-tested, shipped. You can cancel for a full refund any time before the parts for your build are ordered — and if your order hasn't shipped within 30 days, you can cancel for a full refund then too.
Returns & Support
What if something doesn't work when I receive it?
Every unit is tested live on stream before it ships — you can watch the test VOD for your specific unit. If something is wrong on arrival, contact us through the contact page and we will make it right. Full return and warranty policy is available in the Terms.
Is the gear under warranty?
Yes. TG6 warrants its own work — physical assembly and the in-house shoulder mount for 90 days from delivery, plus lifetime config care on the streaming software TG6 sets up for you (OBS, the multistream relay, and your connection profile), restored remotely where possible if it ever breaks. Every brand-name component — Sony, Dell, Elgato, DJI, Peplink, Starlink — carries its own manufacturer's warranty, and TG6 helps you file those claims using the Build Sheet & Warranty Card that ships with your unit. Backpack owners also get access to a private owners-only Discord channel for config care and AI-assisted support, opening with first deliveries. Full details in the Terms.
